Bats are not really Lydia's style. She much prefers a hair based transformation, making the most of her luxuriant locks to create an airborne, Medusa inspired spectacle. It must cost her a fortune in conditioner.

Panel 1. With blood on her face and arms, an innocent looking Lydia calls out to Clench's friends as they run. Behind her David is reaching for his backpack, hoping not to be noticed.
Lydia: Are we playing chase now? This is so much fun! Can I be it?
David (thinks): This can't be real!
Panel 2. As David runs desperately toward us, Lydia is standing by what's left of Clench. She reaches upwards as her hair begins to extend, encircling her body and limbs in long tresses that seem to have a life of their own.
Lydia: You go ahead boys, while I slip into something more comfortable!
David (thinks): Gotta get out fast!
Panel 3: Close up on David's face as he runs for his life. Behind him, Lydia's voice emerges from the mass of black hair now hovering above.
Lydia: Coming - ready or not!
David: Legs feel like lead! Come on David, get out before she...
Panel 4. Lydia's legs descend from the curling tresses of hair, as she smashes someone's head against a gravestone with her boot. We can't tell if its David or not.
Lydia: Tick!
