Panel 1. David has his back to the cemetery gate, holding up a cross and a wooden stake. Lydia moves closer to him, arms outstretched.
Lydia: Let's not do this here. There's a much better spot, between the trees...
David: Stay back, I'm warning you!
Panel 2. Lydia is now grasping the cross as David holds it tightly. She also clutches the wrist of David's stake wielding right arm.
Lydia: Don't be afraid David. I'm not going to hurt you.
David: Please...
Panel 3. Lydia now has both hands on the wooden stake, still held by David.
Lydia : You said we hardly know each other, but I know you'll never make a vampire hunter!
David: ...dont
Panel 4: The face of a self satisfied looking new character, who we will later know as Evan Doncaster. He is not present here.
Lydia: They're not nice people. can you imagine being tortured to death by a bigoted sadist?
Panel 5: David still holds the wooden stake, but Lydia has now placed it's point directly against her chest.
Lydia: But you have such kind eyes. A girl could lose herself in eyes like those.
Lydia: I'll be safe with you.
