David: Did we miss anything?
Griff: Only the latest sermon from Evan Doncaster!
David: That fool again?!
Panel 2: All five members of the Elmwych Paranormal Investigation Club are seated inside the pub, apart from David who stands leaning over the table.
Amy: According to his blog, he's coming to slay our vampire!
Dylan: And we don't want him near the cemetery.
Griff: If he attracts more weirdos, the whole place could be locked down!
Panel 3: More distant view of the table, seen from the bar area.
Dylan: We need to act fast and find our mystery friend before Doncaster shows up.
Amy: Agreed! Whatever this entity might be, it needs our help. We can't take any chances. David?
David: Let's do it!
Panel 4: Lydia in the foreground, looking dishevelled after drinking several dark red cocktails in quick succession. David stands just behind her.
Lydia: I don't like vampire hunters!
David: Trust me, you don't need to worry about this one! He's nothing but an attention seeker who loves the sound of his own voice...
Panel 5: A vintage Austin Princess car is driving toward us on a road lit by street lamps. The driver is the white haired woman Emily encountered on page 41. She wears dark glasses and sitting next to her is Evan Doncaster.
David (caption): "... and no one is listening!"
Doncaster: Your kind contribution is most welcome Isabella! Thanks to you, the good citizens of elmwych will soon be rid of this blood sucking fiend!
